Wednesdays

Wednesdays have come to be my favorite day of the week because with each Wednesday, I can check another week off of the countdown and begin the next! 26 weeks down, 14 more to go!! Every Wednesday when I get to work, I get a text from Dave saying, “Happy 26 weeks” or whatever the current milestone may be. I love reading my emails from www.babycenter.com and www.thebump.com to find out what exciting developments are taking place in that particular week and what fruit the baby is currently resembling – this week it happens to be an eggplant. It’s all just so fascinating. I also find it very endearing that every Wednesday when I get home from work, I will find Dave at the computer checking out his own favorite pregnancy-related websites and sharing with me what he’s learned about how the baby is growing. I’m really lucky to have a husband who is so involved in my pregnancy and wants to be a part of everything. While I may sometimes tease him for being a little obsessive, it means more than words can say that he cares about our baby so much already. Wednesdays also mean it’s time to take our weekly photo for my “Belly Book” which is basically a journal of your pregnancy. You document how you’re feeling each month, what cravings you’re having, when you first felt the baby kick, what your favorite maternity outfit is, stuff like that. It’s crazy to look back and see how small my stomach used to be – and I hope will someday be again!!! Happy Wednesday!
