Happy (Belated) Father's Day!

This year, Father's Day was just a bit more special for our family. Dave got to celebrate his first Father's Day as a new dad and my dad got to celebrate his first Father's Day as a new grandpa. Ivy was sporting her "Daddy Loves Me" outfit to mark the occasion.


Dave began his day by enjoying his favorite pastime - fishing on the Mississppi River. While daddy was off doing his thing, Ivy and I started the day by surprising Grandpa during his regular Sunday morning Panera outing. I'm pretty sure he was more excited to see Ivy there than he was to see me. That is a trend I'm getting used to.


Later on in the afternoon, our little family headed to Grandma and Grandpa's for a special Father's Day lunch and then spent some quality time at home with just the three of us. Daddy loves his little Ivy Bug!!
