Lesson Learned

So last night after I was done feeding Ivy, I thought I would treat myself to a big bowl of fat free chocolate ice cream. Ice cream is one of those things that's kind of hard to eat with one hand so I wasn't able to hold Ivy. I feel like I'm always setting her in the car seat so for a change of pace, I decided to put her in the bouncey seat. She wasn't too keen on that so I moved her to the swing. She seemed like she was really enjoying it, just swinging away. The next thing I know, I hear a little cough and I look up, and she is projectile vomiting all over herself. The poor thing had it coming out of her nose and her mouth simultaneously. Her clothes were soaked, the swing was soaked, and mommy was freaking out. I suppose common sense should have told me not to put a baby in a swing or bouncey seat on a full stomach however, I've always been a bit lacking in the common sense department. I won't make that mistake again.
